Dialogue with investors
NICIGAS emphasizes on dialogue with shareholders, investors and analysts, and conducts more than 300 IR meetings annually. Since FYE 03/24, against the backdrop of growing interest in Japanese equities from global investors, the Company has resumed overseas IR, which had been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In meetings with overseas investors, directors and IR staff speak directly to them in English, without interpreters. We have disclosed materials for investors to overseas investors at the same time as Japanese investors as much as possible, for example by translating materials for investors into English in-house, with some exceptions. Dialogue with shareholders, investors and analysts is incorporated in NICIGAS’ management, and we will continue to improve our corporate value.
Number of IR meetings (FYE 03/25)
We meet with domestic and overseas investors of various investment styles (analysts, fund managers, ESG managers, voting representatives, etc.). Our management team, including the CEO, actively participates in IR meetings to carefully convey our growth story and capital strategy to the capital market. The Corporate Strategy/IR Department continues to improve the disclosure information used in dialogue with investors through discussion with each department.

Valuable feedback from shareholders, investors, and analysts is regularly shared at branch meetings and the Board of Directors, and incorporated into NICIGAS’ governance and strategy planning.

Outside Directors' Roundtable Meeting (February 2024)
NICIGAS’ first time to hold a discussion meeting between an outside director (Mr. Yamada) and investors/analysts (28 people in total). Mr. Yamada, Director, explained the roles and contributions of outside directors to the Board of Directors and exchanged opinions through a question-and-answer session.
Company briefing for individual investors (April 2024)
NICIGAS held its very first online briefing for individual investors. Following the IR officer's presentation on NICIGAS’ growth strategy and shareholder return policy, representatives from institutional investors shared their views on our strengths, their expectations, and other matters.
Shareholder Relations (SR)/Status of exercising voting rights
Each year, NICIGAS reviews the proxy voting guidelines of various proxy-advisory firms and institutional investors, identifies key discussion points, and determines the critical messages the Company wishes to communicate. Discussions are primarily held with major shareholders.
