In the handling of Individual Numbers and specific personal information (hereinafter "specific personal information, etc."), the Company will comply with the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, the Guidelines for the Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and guidelines by ministries and agencies.
3. Purpose of Use of Specific Personal Information, etc.
The Company will use provided specific personal information for the following purposes.
(1) Specific personal information of shareholders, etc.
Clerical work related to preparation of payment records related to dividends and the distribution of surpluses
(2) Specific personal information of business partners, etc.
① Clerical work related to preparation of payment records related to real estate transactions
② Clerical work related to preparation of payment records related to compensation, fees, contract moneys, and
(3) Specific personal information, etc. on personnel of the Company (including past personnel; the same applies
hereinafter) and the spouses, relatives, etc. of personnel
① Taxation affairs
・ Clerical work related to the preparation of withholding slips
・ Clerical work related to the preparation of payment records
・ Clerical work related to filings, notifications, and application submission for asset formation housing
savings and asset formation pension savings
・ For persons who are members of employee and officer shareholder associations, provision to said
associations for the purpose of clerical work by the associations for the preparation of payment
② Social insurance
・ Clerical work related to notifications, applications, and claims related to health insurance and pension
・ Clerical work related to employment insurance and workers' accident compensation insurance
notification, application, claim, and certificate preparation
4. Matters Concerning Safety Management Measures for Specific Personal
The Company will establish safety management measures to prevent leakage, loss, or destruction of specific personal information. In the event of a leak, the Company will notify the persons concerned, will issue a report to the Personal Information Protection Commission, and will promptly establish corrective measures.
5. Handling of Outsourcing
The Company may outsource the handling of specific personal information to third parties. In such cases, the Company will perform necessary and appropriate supervision of the outsourced work contractors, in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, etc.
6. Continuous Improvement
The Company will endeavor to continuously improve this basic Policy and regulations to ensure that the protection of specific personal information, etc. is properly implemented.
7. Disclosure of Specific Personal Information, etc.
When a request has been made by persons concerned or agents thereof for disclosure of specific personal information, etc. held by the Company, the Company will respond without delay, except in the following cases.
① A risk exists to the life, person, property, or other rights and interests of persons concerned or third parties
② A risk of significant impediment to the proper implementation of the Company's work exists
③ Doing so would violate laws or regulations
